The new ferry service to Daufuskie is here! The Daufuskie Island Ferry Service operates between Palmetto Bay Marina on Hilton Head and Melrose Landing on the island. Here’s the schedule and operating information: Departing from Hilton Head Departing from Daufuskie Palmetto Bay Marina Melrose Landing Monday – Friday 6:00 am Monday – Friday 7:00 am Weekends 8:00 am Weekends 9:00 am Monday – Friday 8:00 am Monday – Friday 9:00 am Weekends 10:00 am Weekends 11:00 am Monday – Sunday 3:00 pm Monday – Sunday 4:00 pm Monday – Sunday 5:00 pm Monday – Sunday 6:00 pm Monday – Sunday 11:35 pm* *Departure available by reservation only (843 940-7704) THE FERRY DEPARTS promptly at the time outlined in the schedule above. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early in order to be aboard the ferry five minutes before departure. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets may be purchased on Daufuskie at Island House at Melrose and the Old Post Office/General Store at Marshside’s. On Hilton Head tickets may be purchased at the Charter Office in Palmetto Bay Marina. Palmetto Breeze tickets honored on all regularly scheduled departures. •Daufuskie Island Ferry Service regular tickets – $17.50 one-way; $35 round-trip. Children 5 and under free. Includes cargo service. Tickets may be purchased online at Daufuskie Island Ferry •Daufuskie Island Ferry Service Bulk tickets – $25 round-trip with prepaid purchase of 200 or more tickets. Freight Shipments •Unaccompanied small items – $25 shipping and handling. •Freight that requires a 4’ x 6’ trailer – $40. •Freight that requires a 4’ x 8’ trailer – $50 •Large oversized items that do not fit on a trailer but can fit on the ferry – $50. •Golf Carts – $75 (shipped as boat loading permits) Parking •Palmetto Breeze parking pass holders will park in the designated Palmetto Bay Marina parking spaces.
